Workshop on “Seismic risk reduction” will take place on 10 Dec 2019 in Hotel Budva, Budva, Montenegro. This city was severely struck by the catastrophic earthquake in April 1979, and thus represents an emblematic place for this educational activity.

The participants are expected to be from a series of Montenegrin municipalities from coast region (those at high seismic risk), but also healthcare institutions, public education system, Touristic organisation of Budva, Electric Power company (Elektrodistribucija), media, Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology and from the organiser, the Directorate for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Interior. 

The opening address will be held by Mr. Mirsad Mulic, Head of Directorate for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Interior of Montenegro.
